Compass Plus, an international provider of retail banking and electronic payments software to processors and financial institutions, has announced a new partnership with the Emerging Payment Association (EPA).  Established in 2004, the EPA is a community of the UK’s most progressive payments companies, and now has over 75 members.

The Emerging Payments Association, led by an independent advisory board, aims to establish the UK as a global hotspot for payments innovation. As Compass Plus continues to expand across the UK and Europe with TranzAxis, their open development payment platform, the EPA has become a natural partner.

“Compass Plus is focused on driving innovation and helping our customers to create and grow exciting new revenue streams, and to reinvigorate their existing business. TranzAxis is an open development payment platform that offers a genuine alternative for those companies who are looking to differentiate their business and bring new innovations to market,”  said Darren Busby, Associate VP & Business Development Director at Compass Plus GB. “Becoming a part of the EPA’s network of innovative, forward thinking companies is an exciting opportunity. We look forward to working with EPA and its members and are eager to see what the future holds.”

Tony Craddock, Director General at the Emerging Payments Association, said: “The key words for Compass Plus are: Open; Innovative; Global; and Proven. It’s great to see a software and services firm with such a pedigree join our community. I’m sure they will be active participants, as we set out to grow the size and profitability of the thriving world of payments together.”

About The Emerging Payments Association
The EPA is a community for the UK’s most progressive payments companies. The EPA helps them influence the payments landscape and get access to the people operating in it, whether they are buyers, sellers or partners. They have been operating since 2004, have over 85 members, run the world’s only payments-specific incubator, have the support of UK government agencies, and regularly communicate with regulatory bodies to advance payments innovation. The EPA is led by an independent Advisory Board and has the support of their Lead Benefactor, Visa Collab, their Founding Benefactor, Mastercard, and two Benefactors, The Bancorp and SVS.
