payexpo2015‘Moving mobile payments out of the niche and in to the mainstream’ - Compass Plus presents at PayExpo 2015

Compass Plus, an international provider of retail banking and electronic payments software to processors and financial institutions, was pleased to present at PayExpo, which took place on 9-10 of June in London, UK.

Talking in the Mobile Money Theatre at PayExpo, Paul Love, Principle Product Manager at Compass Plus, discussed ‘Moving mobile payments out of the niche and in to the mainstream’. Paul argued that whilst market players are scrambling for market share with niche products that further fragment the payments space, a comprehensive mobile payments solution is required from both a business and consumer perspective. He went on to say that many of the current mobile payment options are unable to outgrow their niche, mobile payments should be about making payments with a mobile device, and not limited by specific hardware or compatibility.

Paul then unveiled MobiCash, a new mobile payments service from Compass Plus designed to make payments easy without compromising security.

“This year’s PayExpo exceeded my expectations. The feedback from delegates on my presentation was excellent - we had a lot of people visit the stand afterwards to find out more about our new service and how it could work for them,” said Paul Love, Principle Product Manager at Compass Plus. “Traffic to our stand was good throughout the show, with a lot of interesting conversations with companies looking to drive innovation and disruption in the payments business taking place. We made a lot of new high quality connections that I look forward to following up on the next few weeks.”

PayExpo brought together over 2,000 industry professionals and more than 50 exhibitors from a range of sectors in the banking and payments industry, providing the perfect platform to increase our network and gain valuable insight in to upcoming trends in payments.
