SmartLinkCompass Plus has widened TranzWare Online’s broad range of built-in interfaces with yet another H2H interface to the largest local payment system of Vietnam - Smartlink, in terms of connected banks. Smartlink is the region’s leading payment system servicing not only Vietnamese banks but a number of telcos, airlines and other large businesses in the country.
The interface has been certified for Smartlink Interface ISO8583 Technical Specifications, v.2.0. During the certification all main transactions have been tested for both ATMs (including balance inquiry, PIN change, mini-statement request, funds transfer, billing, mobile top-up) and POS terminals.
Compass Plus has become one of the first electronic payment software vendors to be certified by Smartlink in Vietnam. During the implementation of this project Compass Plus’ experts employed their vast experience of developing and certifying interfaces to various payment systems, national and local payment  gateways, processors, external authorisation hosts and other systems worldwide. This certification is strategically important for Compass Plus in terms of promoting TranzWare in the rapidly developing electronic payments market of Vietnam. Currently four of the largest Vietnamese banks use TranzWare to automate their card business.

About Smartlink:
Smartlink Card Services was established by the Foreign Trade Bank of Vietnam (Vietcombank) and 15 other commercial banks. Currently Smartlink is operating an information processing system with 31 member banks and many telcos, air, corporate and other large business in Vietnam such as VietnamAirlines, Viettel, VMS Mobiphone, Vinaphone, Thegioididong, Vinagam to provide payment facilities on ATM, POS, cell phones, Internet. The system processes up to 1 million transactions a day; more than 8 million cards have been issued and are accepted at nearly 8,000 ATMs and more than 30,000 points of sale in Vietnam.
